- 400g canned chickpeas
- 80ml extra virgin olive oil
- A small can of roasted peppers
- 30ml water
- 1-2 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1 teaspoon of our Life & Soul (previously Lion Heart) Omega 3 Liquid
1. Drain the peppers.
2. Rinse chickpeas in a colander under running water.
3. Tip the chickpeas and peppers into a blender along with 60ml of the oil and blitz in a food processor until almost smooth.
4. Add the garlic, lemon and Life & Soul Liquid along with 30ml water. Blitz again for about 5 mins, or until the hummus is smooth and silky.
5. Season, transfer into a bowl and enjoy (crisps are optional but recommended)!
