Kick start your new year by adding more movement into your day. I’m often asked what’s the ideal amount of exercise you should aim to get each week. This all depends on your fitness goals and your current fitness levels. However, my first piece of advice is to simply get moving. Start to walk at least 4,000 steps a day and build up to 10,000 steps. Change up your daily commute by getting off a stop or two early. Leave the car at home and try walking or cycling to your destination.
